気象庁によると、台風２４号は７日午前９時、熱帯低気圧に変わった。沖縄気象台によると、沖縄地方の沿岸の海域ではしけや波の高い状態が９日にかけて続く見込みで、うねりを伴う高波に注意を呼びかけている。また、大東島地方では８日にかけて落雷や突風、急な強い雨に注意が必要となる。
