A witness told detectives: 'he observed two males arguing in the parking lot of the warehouse. One male was holding a firearm. The suspect first punched the victim. The victim then punched him back. At this time, the suspect shot the victim. ' Investigators said the victim was shot once in the arm. Detectives said witnesses provided videos and photos of what happened. In one video, the affidavit said, Crump can be heard saying 'I'll kill you' as he placed his hands around the victim's neck. After the shooting, detectives said Crump got into his semi-truck and left. The affidavit said Crump called the company he worked for as a third-party contractor. The company was able to track the vehicle using GPS. The GPS data showed the semi-truck heading northbound through Jacksonville and into Georgia. The Glynn County Police Department in Georgia confirmed that an officer observed a vehicle matching the information provided in a be-on-the-lookout alert for a shooting suspect from Orlando, Florida. The charge against Crump is attempted second-degree murder with a firearm. He was arrested in Georgia days before Friday's court appearance. The judge has appointed a public defender to represent him. The next hearing is set for the morning of Sept. 10. At that appearance, Crump will appear with his assigned public defender, according to the judge's Friday order. The affidavit places the shooting near Boice Pond Road and describes the dispute as starting after a late delivery. Detectives said the argument escalated in the warehouse parking lot, where the victim was wounded once in the arm.
