Citroen India has expanded the lineup of its midsize SUV and crossover offerings. The Citroen AircrossX and BasaltX are now available with the turbo-petrol engine on their base trims. Furthermore, the naturally aspirated petrol engine has been expanded to the top-spec Max trim. This reshuffle will make the turbo-petrol engine more accessible to buyers, while at the same time making premium features available with the NA petrol engine.

The turbo-petrol engine, which was previously available from the mid-spec Plus trim on both offerings, has now been made available with the entry-level You trim. This makes it more affordable by Rs 1.50 lakh on the Citroen AircrossX and Rs 1.58 lakh on the BasaltX. The naturally aspirated petrol engine is now available on the top-spec Max trim, in case buyers want it with the full list of premium features. Additionally, the Citroen e-C3X has been updated to offer an improved driving range of 330km (MIDC). Previously, it offered 325km. The automaker has said that this change has been enacted via a software update. The EV is now available with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme, which brings its starting price down to Rs 6.99 lakh with a battery EMI of Rs 2.26/km. e-C3X

Citroen India has also introduced a step-up finance scheme with a maximum loan tenure of up to 7 years. This lowers the EMI outflow during the first 4 years compared to a regular loan EMI. EMI for the BasaltX range starts from Rs 9,999, and the AircrossX range starts from Rs 10,555 for the first year of the loan tenure.
