DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — A free concert in downtown Dothan will bring the community together to honor first responders and mark 25 years since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
According to Porter Park, the First Responders Appreciation Concert will be held Friday, Sept. 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Porter Park Events Plaza.
Country artist Frank Ray will headline the concert, with special guests Dustin Herring and Noah Swanson.
'We're one week out from a great night at Porter Park,' organizers said. 'The First Responders Appreciation Concert featuring Frank Ray is happening Friday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 PM with special guests Dustin Herring and Noah Swanson.'
The event will feature free live music and food trucks while recognizing the service of first responders in the community.
'Come enjoy free live music and food trucks while we honor 25 years since 9/11 and recognize the service of first responders in our community,' Porter Park said.
Admission is free.
Organizers also thanked The Mike Schmitz Family, Hots Deli and Spedale MD PC for helping bring the free event to Dothan.
