Living history events coming to Museum of Butler

BUTLER, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Museum of Butler showcases the history of Butler and the relocation of the town to higher ground to make way for Watauga Lake, but it can also transport people back in time. The Museum, located at 123 Selma Curtis Road, is offering a few living history events this Fall. The first event, 'Living History Saturday,' is happening on September 26 from Noon to 2 p.m. Kids in grades 5 through 12 can check out 'A Walk in their Boots' living history on Friday, October 9. 'Life on the Home Front' living history is Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More events and details on the museum's daily operations can be found here.
