A Fulton man was being held in the Callaway County Jail, facing six felony counts, including rape and sodomy.
Prosecutors charged Anthony Rawls with First Degree Rape, First Degree Sodomy, First Degree Kidnapping - Facilitating A Felony - Inflicting Injury – Terrorizing, Second Degree Domestic Assault, and First Degree Property Damage.
He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of Fourth Degree Domestic Assault.
The victim called 911 on Monday, Sept. 7, at 4:57 p.m.
She said she had locked herself in the bathroom of a grocery store to hide from Rawls.
She told law enforcement that she and Rawls started arguing the day before.
The woman also said that she was pregnant and that Rawls punched her in the stomach and that he choked her.
She said that he brought her to work with him, and that was when she was able to get away from him.
Rawls was being held without bond in the Callaway County Jail.
