AI may be new, but my process is not. I've been using this research process since long before ChatGPT. It helps me get clear on the offer and understand exactly who wants it.

A few of my currentAI coachingclients have gotten hung up on which business idea to pursue first. They've done the research. Now they have options, and that's where they get stuck.
In helping them work through it, I've come up with about 10 ways to turn that research into something they can actually sell. I thought you might like to get in on this too.
So in this issue, we'll walk through three concrete ways to start a business using AI as leverage, and how to take the first step this week.
And if you're coming from corporate, pay attention to the work people already rely on you to do. You may be so used to solving a particular problem that you don't recognize it as something another business would pay for.
They are:
Deliver a recurring service with AI.
Install an AI worker inside an existing business.
Build an AI product that completes one specific job.
These are three ways to build a business. The difference is what the customer pays you for: a result you deliver, a system you install, or a product they use. In each one, AI handles repeated work while you stay responsible for the result.
You're probably overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time by all the advice about starting a business with AI.
Sell AI consulting. Become an AI coach. Create a chatbot. The list goes on.
My rule is to simply sell the result. Make it clear what someone is paying you to solve.
There are enough problems out here to solve. And you have enough life experience and expertise to sell a real result to a real person who already wants what you have.
