Woman dies and 3 arrested after serious crash near Edinburgh Airport

The A8 was closed in both directions between Newbridge roundabout and Edinburgh Airport for several hours on Monday after a serious crash involving four vehicles at around 9.25am. The driver of one vehicle, a 58-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment and have since been released.
