Dry and settled weather is set to continue across the country, but colder nights can be expected too, Met Éireann has said.
Met Éireann meteorologist Ailish Hankinson said it is due to high pressure continuing to bring mostly settled conditions for the rest of the week.
'It is starting with some cloud and drizzle at times, though on an easterly flow that will become brisker today,' she told the daily weather podcast.
'But this will limit fog tonight and there will be some sunny spells in the mix too.'

However, Ms Hankinson said Wednesday will become that bit breezier, with highs of 9 to 12C.
'For today then, we'll see a dry day for most with a mix of cloud and sunny spells as well as a few light showers, mainly affecting the south and east,' she said.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, temperatures will drop to between 1 and 6C in general and it will be the coldest under clearer skies with some frost.
It will be another dry day for most on Thursday, with a mix of cloud, sunshine and just a few light showers.
Highs of 9 to 12C across the country, with any early frost, mist and fog clearing quickly.
High pressure will continue to dominate, bringing mostly dry and settled weather, apart from some light showers in places, Met Éireann said.
This weather is set to continue early next week, but there is a chance that an area of low pressure will move up from the south, bringing outbreaks of rain and windier conditions by midweek.
