Met Office Forecasts Hot, Humid Weather In Sindh

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Pakistan Meteorological Department, Wednesday, forecast hot and humid weather over most districts of Sindh during the next 24 hours while partly cloudy in coastal areas with chances of rain-wind and thundershower in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Ghotki and surroundings during evening or night. At Karachi and other coastal areas of the province, weather may remain mostly cloudy and humid with chances of isolated drizzle during morning or night, according to the met office forecast. Weather remained mainly hot and humid over most districts of the province while partly cloudy in coastal areas during the previous 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature in the province was recorded as 42 C in Sukkur and Dadu. The maximum temperature at Moen jo Daro was recorded as 40 C, Nawabshah 39 C, Hyderabad Airport 35 C, Karachi 34 C, and at Mithi and Thatta 33 C.
