Several Punjab Districts Receive Record Rainfall

Several districts across Punjab recorded heavy rainfall during the sixth monsoon spell, which began on August 16, according to data released by the Housing Department Punjab. Jhelum recorded the highest rainfall, with an average of 368.6 millimeters (mm) and a maximum of 498 mm. Rawalpindi recorded an average of 278.16 mm, with a maximum of 433 mm, while Sialkot received an average of 230 mm and a maximum of 358 mm. Attock recorded an average rainfall of 224 mm and a maximum of 299 mm, while Gujrat received an average of 222.6 mm and a maximum of 318 mm.
