Donrinda Bruce-Acquah, Senior Manager, Home Commercial and Business Development at MTN Ghana presents MTN Home to audience at the MTN Digifest 2026 Launch and Tech Fair in Accra
MTN Ghana plans to make its Home Fibre service available to up to 700,000 homes by the end of the year as demand for reliable connectivity grows amid changing patterns of work, learning and business.
Donrinda Bruce-Acquah, Senior Manager, Home Commercial and Business Development at MTN Ghana, said the company was investing in connectivity infrastructure to provide a stronger foundation for households increasingly relying on multiple devices and simultaneous users.
Speaking to Techfocus24 on the sidelines of the MTN Digifest 2026 Launch and Tech Fair, she said homes had evolved beyond being places people returned to after work, with more people now learning, working and creating businesses from home.
'Now we see that there is more need for a solid foundation in terms of connectivity,' she said.
Bruce-Acquah said MTN Home Fibre would provide fast, unlimited internet access to households within its coverage, allowing customers to check availability and connect to the service.
She added that MTN Home would also focus on educating customers on how to get more value from their home connectivity.
According to her, the company would introduce content, devices and smart devices to provide customers with a more holistic connected-home experience.
'What we are doing now is to let people know that the future is already here,' she said.
She said MTN Home's approach would centre on shaping and investing in the future of home connectivity as households increasingly depend on digital services and connected devices.
