Trump ridiculed as 'South Park' makes major Emmy comeback Donald Trump and the South Park often trade barbs now with the latter making a major award comeback, the series makers did not waste the opportunity. Winning an Emmy in Outstanding Animated Program, marking the gong first time the animated series gotten in over a decade, the show's creators posted the U.S. president holding the trophy. The line in the image read, "You finally got your Emmy." It is a reference to Trump's two-time being nominated for an Emmy for his reality show The Apprentice in 2004 and 2005, respectively. However, he did not win none. Meanwhile, the South Park co-creator Trey Parker added, 'A big thank you to the greatest fans in the world. It's only because of you guys that we haven't been canceled in 30 years."
