RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said fintech has fundamentally reshaped Indian finance, taking banking 'from the branch to the hand of every citizen'. Highlighting UPI, Aadhaar-enabled payments, account aggregators and the Unified Lending Interface, Malhotra said fintech is also helping extend collateral-light formal credit to MSMEs while improving financial inclusion, efficiency and customer experience.
