In a statement, the Foreign Office expressed condolences to the government and people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, particularly the bereaved families, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
Pakistan also reaffirmed its solidarity with the Jordanian people in their fight against terrorism and reiterated its strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
According to Jordan's state-owned television station Al-Mamlaka, two gunmen got out of a vehicle and opened fire during a funeral procession at Hamoud Church in Karak on Friday.
