MG News September 07, 2026 (MLN): The Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) has raised the price of petrol (Motor Spirit) by Rs12.90 per litre and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs3.72 per litre, effective September 8, 2026. Based on the revised petroleum pricing mechanism issued by the Federal Government, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products for September 8, 2026, according to a press release issued in Islamabad. With the latest revision, the price of petrol has been increased from Rs345.87 per litre to Rs358.77 per litre, while HSD price has gone up from Rs378.05 per litre to Rs381.77 per litre.
