Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Camera Specs Leak Again; 5x Telephoto Might Return

We found a report in August saying Samsung has skipped the 5X and 3X telephoto setup on the S27 Ultra. And it's going for a single 4X zoom lens. This was denied by Ice Universe later on. Another source agreed with Ice's theory today. Ice Universe seems to think that the zoom camera will be 5X. They won't be demoting it to 4X just to put a better sensor under it. The long zoom still exists. This was a controversial take, so we had to put the theory on the back burner. But now Roland Quandt (famed tipster on BlueSky) has reported the exact same thing. This would mean it has the exact optical setup as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, sans the 3x mini telephoto shooter, which they might have skipped. There's also a 50MP Ultrawide camera on the S27 Ultra, says the leaker in his BSKY post. And the phone might end up with a 16MP selfie camera in 2027. That's a jump from the 12MP front camera on the S26 Ultra. At least that's something to look forward to. Samsung Display made M16 OLED this year and possibly debuted the tech on iPhone 18 Pros already. So we suspect the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have this new, brighter, and more colorful M16 display. By the way, the current S26 Ultra is built around the older M14 tech.
