Indianapolis Colts coach Shane Steichen said Monday that he expects wide receiver Alec Pierce to play this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. 'He should be good (to go),' Steichen said of Pierce, who underwent left ankle and heel surgery in late March. 'We'll get him some reps in practice this week, just like he took reps last week. He's feeling really good.' Advertisement Pierce returned to Colts practice on Aug. 27, after starting training camp on the physically unable to perform list. Before that day, Pierce hadn't taken part in an on-field team activity since undergoing surgery. The fifth-year pro signed a four-year, $114 million deal in March, the richest free-agent contract for a receiver in NFL history. Pierce, who is the league's 15th-highest-paid wideout annually, has led the NFL in yards per reception in each of the past two years (22.3 in 2024 and 21.3 in 2025). This story will be updated.
