There has been no shortage of Fallout releases over the years, from the various video games to all of the various forms of tie-in merchandise. The next big release for the franchise may be the priciest yet, as it will cost fans around $14,000. As of now, Stern Pinball's Fallout is available for purchase on the Stern Pinball website. There are three different versions of the pinball machine that greatly range in price. The Pro edition costs $7,299, while the Premium runs $10,699. Additionally, there's a Limited Edition version that's listed at $13,999. Each machine features imagery from the first two seasons of Prime Video's Fallout TV series, though there are also many nods to the video games, especially the V.A.T.S. system. Fallout by Stern Pinball Aims to Immerse Players Into the Wasteland The official description of the game reads, "Experience the show's story from the perspective of Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, or Maximus. Enter the Vault to discover the horrors of Vault-Tec's past, present, and future. Find Wilzig's head to discover the secrets of Cold Fusion held within." The cheapest version comes with the core Fallout game, including an interactive Pip-Boy, Nuka-Cola spinner, and Deathclaw. What it's missing are some of the major mechanical features used on the other versions, such as the Vault lower playfield and the V.A.T.S. system for automatic targeting. The Premium version also adds a Wasteland shooting gallery, mechanically opening Vault door, and an upgraded Deathclaw with a kickback coil. The Limited Edition release will have much fewer units made, noted to be limited to 770 worldwide. Along with everything that's featured as part of the game on the Premium release, it includes unique yellow powder-coated hardware in the vein of Vault-Tec and illuminated laser-cut pinball armor. It also adds interactive cabinet and speaker lighting, giving it its own distinct presentation. It's up to the buyer to determine if these benefits are worth the extra costs. Along with pulling in very high viewership on Prime Video, their Rotten Tomatoes scores were nearly perfect, earning a 93% for Season 1 and 96% for Season 2. As for the video games, it was recently confirmed that there are remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas in the works. They have not been given release dates, but could arrive ahead of Fallout 5 , which is believed to still be several years away from release. It has also been reported that Obsidian Entertainment is working on a new Fallout game, but very little is known about that project at this time.
