2 minors die in Misamis fire

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Two children died in a fire that destroyed a house in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental shortly before noon on Monday. The fatalities were reportedly trapped inthe house, which was made of light materials, according to the city disaster risk reduction and management office. The property, which was located in Barangay Don Consuelo, was reportedly owned by one of the fatalities. The other victim went to the house to play with his friend. Probers estimated the amount of damage to property at P125,000.
