They should also be taught that the nikahnama is not merely a formality or a paper to sign blindly. Including basic nikah education in college and university curricula can help young people understand their rights, responsibilities and the importance of making informed decisions. It can also protect them from misunderstandings and unnecessary social pressure. Therefore, the authorities should consider including basic nikah and marriage awareness in college curriculum.
