Asante Kotoko announce special fan package for Heart of Lions showdown

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced a special package for supporters ahead of their first home match of the 2026/27 league season against Heart of Lions. The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Heart of Lions to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, September 13, as they seek their first victory of the campaign. Kotoko have encouraged supporters to turn out in large numbers by offering free access to selected stands for fans wearing the club's colours. In a social media announcement, Kotoko revealed that supporters wearing a Kotoko jersey or red outfit will gain free entry to the designated red and green stands. "A special welcome back home package is available for our fans this Sunday. To gain free entry to the red and green stands, please wear a Kotoko jersey or any red outfit, excluding foreign club shirts. Kotoko head into Sunday's encounter following a 2-2 draw against Debibi United in their opening match of the Ghana Premier League campaign. Coach Eric Tinkler and his players will be eager to build on that result and secure their first three points of the season in front of their home supporters.
