Sony Refreshes WH-1000XM4 as WH-1000XM4C, Adds Two New Wireless Models

Sony Electronics has introduced the WH-1000XM4C, a refreshed take on its popular WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling headphones, along with two new wireless models in its mid-range and entry-level lines. The WH-1000XM4C keeps the 1000X Series noise cancelling and premium sound of its predecessor but adds a new 10-band equalizer for personalized audio. Battery life reaches up to 50 hours with noise cancelling on, and a three-minute quick charge provides one hour of playback. The WH-CH730N also includes Dual Noise Sensor technology, Precise Voice Pickup Technology for calls, and support for LE Audio, Multipoint, and Fast Pair/Swift Pair. At the entry level, Sony announced the WH-CH530, an on-ear headphone with soft head cushions. It is available now in Black, Cobalt, White, and Pink, with Coral and Mint colors exclusive to Sony and Amazon. The suggested price is $69.99 in the US and $99.99 in Canada. Battery life is up to 55 hours, and a three-minute charge yields 1.5 hours of playback.
