Firefighters are investigating a fire that damaged several vehicles at the Tesla dealership in Corte Madera. The fire was reported at about 4:20 a.m. Sunday, according to Battalion Chief Brian Peterson of the Central Marin Fire Department. The fire was in the rear lot of the dealership, which is at 201 Casa Buena Drive. 'The first arriving engine company found one Tesla with the front 'frunk' area on fire that was extending to 3 other Teslas around it,' Peterson said in an email. 'The flames were extinguished in approximately 15 minutes and the fire did not spread to the main battery pack of any of the Teslas.' 'While this incident does not appear accidental the department and investigation team has not declared arson or suspected arson at this point,' Peterson said.
