After a weekend off from football between the end of the preseason and the start of the regular season, the Steelers are unsurprisingly looking healthy ahead of their season opener on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
"We're healthy," head coach Mike McCarthy said at his press conference Monday afternoon. "I don't really expect anyone to have a hard time getting ready."
PennLive's Nick Farabaugh reported that a number of Steelers' rostered players who missed some time over the summer participated in the portion of Monday's practice open to the media, including names such as safety Jaquan Brisker, wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and DK Metcalf, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day.
Currently, the only apparent question mark in the Steelers' starting lineup is Porter, who appears healthy but has played it coy regarding whether or not he'd play against the Falcons without a new contract.
Either way, while official injury reports aren't out yet this week, it appears Pittsburgh doesn't have much to worry about health-wise entering the regular season.
