Glenn S. Gainor and Sandy Climan's HVG confirms the launch of a network for Hollywood producers and creatives while also closing a screenplay discovery pact with First-Look. Have a conversation with any producer working in Hollywood and it won't be long until you hear about the challenges they face making movies and TV shows in today's marketplace. Here comesin summer 2025 as a firm designed to meet the current moment in global filmmaking — launched the entity as a way to connect the people, projects and resources behind production worldwide. It is acting as a support system for films series and other storytelling platforms including location-based entertainment and interactive media. The Producers365 platform is now live with membership applications open. It functions more than a social network or message board, and is designed in such a way that members can connect, share resources, perhaps partner on projects or suggest options for things like co-production partners and resources or simply help one another advance projects. In addition to the platform unveiling, HVG has confirmed a strategic partnership with First-Look, a platform founded by scribes and producers Chad and Carey Hayes . Under the pact, the platform will offer writers the opportunity to get projects in front of verified buyers actively looking for material without representation. In doing so, it will host a 'digital script vault' integrated with First-Look's platform. Other Producers365 highlights: industry updates and member announcements from Producers365 leadership; a curated feed of real-world industry events, gatherings and opportunities happening across the globe; a curated directory of trusted vendors and industry partners; a reference library of global production incentives and co-production treaties supporting cross-border production and collaboration; financing, co-production, distribution and rights opportunities tied to member projects; and more. 'The traditional mechanics of film finance and co-production still rely heavily on event-driven gatherings and fragmented messaging channels that go stale between markets,' explained Gainor, who is serving as co-founder and CEO of both Producers365 and HVG. He knows the terrain well after having served as head of physical production at Amazon MGM Studios and Screen Gems, and as co-founder and president of Sony Innovation Studios. 'Producers365 is designed to change that by creating a trusted, members-only producing network where creators can find international partners, access financing resources, protect their intellectual property and move projects forward every day of the year. ' Added Climan, co-founder of Producers365 and HVG chairman: 'As the media landscape rapidly shifts toward global financing and decentralized workflows, producers need a platform that matches where the industry is going. ' Before his current role, Climan held senior executive roles at MGM, CAA and Universal Studios, and more than 25 years as founder and CEO of Entertainment Media Ventures. Carey Hayes explained why his company is on board: 'Every great film begins with a great script, but too many extraordinary stories never see the light of day,. Partnering with Producers365 gives writers a secure, verified portal to safeguard their IP while giving producers direct access to a transparent, rated pipeline of material ready for global financing and production. ' The growing membership includes companies, too, like photo powerhouse Getty Images. The company provides licensing capabilities, rights management expertise and collections of archival, editorial and creative stills and video that will help support productions around the world. 'The industry has shifted, and reaching audiences and collaborators worldwide has become abundantly important. As a production company and financier, we are increasingly focused on the international landscape. From a creative standpoint, having access to stories, creators, and collaborators from every corner of the world is not only important but indispensable,' explained Jayce Barreiro, president of Big Picture Cinema Group. Added Aaron Parsons, co-founder and chief technology officer at Producers365: 'Glenn once told me, 'You can't force success; you have to let the market pull you in. ' That idea has stayed with me. We're not building technology to disrupt the industry. We're using it to bring human connection, credit and ownership to the people who make things happen. ' To celebrate the rollout, Producers365 and HVG insiders will gather at the third annual Big Picture event in Toronto on Sept. 12, a date that coincides with this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
