BYU Football Standouts Honored on Big 12 Weekly Award List

IRVING, Texas-Monday, BYU sophomore returner Cannon DeVries and freshman wide receiver Legend Glasker were named as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week and the conference Freshman of the Week respectively.
Glasker, a former Lehi High School star, hauled in three receptions for 65 yards and two scores in the Cougars' 63-7 rout of Utah Tech Saturday. Glasker ran for another touchdown in the rout for BYU.
DeVries returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score in the 2nd half for BYU Saturday.
DeVries, Glasker and their BYU teammates return to action Saturday by hosting the Arizona Wildcats in the Big 12 season opener for both squads.
