The Whites are away to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in the League Cup. Both sides are coming into this game after solid starts to the season. Chelsea have lost just one game so far, over the weekend to Arsenal and Leeds are unbeaten in all competitions. The last meeting between the two sides ended in a defeat in the FA Cup for Daniel Farke's side. This time around there is a chance to advance in the League Cup fourth round. The winger is an injury doubt even though scans did not show an injury; his status for the cup clash will be confirmed before Wednesday. Xabi Alonso on the other hand has a long list on injuries on his hands. Midfielder Moises Caicedo is still out injured and Marco Palestra remains unavailable alongside Jordan Henderson. 'No, not yet. Still not ready to go. Not the moment to take too early risk. So we go game by game with them and it's too early.' the Blues boss said during Tuesday's press conference. Caicedo is expected to be ready to play this weekend, but will miss the midweek game. Jordan Henderson is still yet to recover from the wrist injury he picked up during the World Cup. New signing Emmanuel Emegha is unavailable as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury.
