An unidentified Dubliner has won a €1m lotto prize after buying their ticket at a south Dublin shop. The winning ticket was purchased at a Spar, Leopardstown Gardens in Blackrock on September 12. With the winner yet to come forward, lotto players have been urged to check their tickets for the winning numbers '5, 13, 19, 21, 23, 42' and the bonus number 18. The Dublin player who purchased a 'quick pick' ticket for the Lotto Plus 2 game will be the first winner after a few changes were introduced to the game recently. Previously, the top prize for the ticket was worth €250,000. 'What an incredible night, especially for one Dublin player who has become the very first Lotto Plus 2 millionaire since the game change earlier this month,' said National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan. 'With the top prize increasing from €250,000 to €1m, this is an unforgettable win for Saturday night's ticketholder.' Two players in Dublin and Sligo also won €21,756 each after winning in the main Lotto draw. The Dublin player bought their ticket on the day of the draw from Tesco at Trinity Central in, Pearse Street.
