OWOSSO, Mich. (WLNS) — A Mid-Michigan company is closing its doors after more than 30 years. Rugged Liner in Owosso is set to close in March of 2027, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state. The closure will lead to the layoff of 90 employees across its two facilities at 951 Aiken St. and 200 Universal Drive. It is unclear why the company is closing. 6 News reached out to Rugged Liner and did not immediately hear back. The company was founded in July 1995, according to its social media.
