Aaron Rodgers loves to hate on ESPN, and the Worldwide Leader may have given him a little more ammunition by parting ways with Karl Ravech. Rodgers was recently interviewed by Adam Schein on his SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio show. At the end of the segment, Schein boldly gave Rodgers the open forum to share whatever was on his mind about sports. And while Rodgers could have easily taken that freedom in a wide range of directions, he used the platform to praise Karl Ravech. "I caught a couple of the Little League World Series games, and I just love watching the kids, and maybe, the only thing I'll say is a shout out to Karl Ravech," Rodgers told Schein. "He was so great for Little League Baseball, and one of the guys growing up I used to watch on SportsCenter, so shout out to him for a phenomenal career on TV, and whatever comes next for him." Rodgers typically welcomes any opportunity to attack ESPN. Just last month he used an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show to rant about former NIAIS director Anthony Fauci and bash ESPN for its coverage of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini. Rodgers similarly could have used Schein's show to go off on the same topics when given an open mic. He could have at least ripped ESPN for laying off one of their longest-tenured employees in Karl Ravech. But the four-time NFL MVP didn't take the low hanging fruit, keeping the sentiment about Ravech rather than his one-sided feud with ESPN, whether intentional or not. As Aaron Rodgers noted, the company did keep the former SportsCenter anchor and MLB announcer on to call the Little League World Series one last time, giving him an opportunity to have a more ceremonious ending. Karl Ravech was about as unanimously beloved as you can be in sports media, with Rodgers being the latest to share his appreciation for the now former ESPN personality.
