Pedestrian hospitalized after crash in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Police have reported that a pedestrian is in the hospital after a crash in Springfield on Sunday night. The Springfield Police Department told Ozarks First that officers responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash around 9 p.m. near Delmar Street and Glenstone Ave. on Sunday, Sept. 6. Officials say the female pedestrian was transported to the hospital, with the driver of the vehicle staying on the scene. Law enforcement states that the woman had serious injuries, but they are not life-threatening.
