Interior Ministry Issues Report On Pakistan Visa Categories

ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 8th Sep, 2026) The Interior Ministry has prepared a special report on various visa categories, including the Names of countries covered by business, tourist and grant visas, as well as countries that have terminated agreements. According to the ministry's report, 24 countries are included in the tourist visa list and 15 in the grant visa list, while Pakistan has terminated agreements with 36 countries. The report said the countries covered by the terminated agreements include nine countries with diplomatic passports, 19 with official passports and eight national countries. The report also includes the names of 16 countries that grant dual citizenship, while 69 countries around the world are included in Pakistan's business visa list. According to the Interior Ministry's report, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Malta, Qatar, Sweden, the UK, the USA and Uzbekistan are also included in the business visa list. The report said 24 countries are included in the tourist visa categories, and those travelling to these countries are the responsibility of the designated tourist operator. According to the Interior Ministry's report, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen are included in the grant visa category.
