CBS Miami reported the plane took off from Great Harbour Cay in the Bahamas at about 10:12 a.m. and was headed to Miami Executive Airport in Miami-Dade County. In a statement, the family said the plane's last known contact was at 11:04 a.m. when the plane was about 13 miles west of Andros Island. Those on board were pilot Mario Lamar, 80; Lili Lamar, 79; and two of their grandchildren, Sofia Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22. In a video obtained by WSVN, Silvi Larrieu, the pilot's niece, asked for prayers and help finding her family. 'We're asking for everyone out there to please help, whether it's by plane by boat. Any signs that you've noticed help us find them and bring them back alive,' Larrieu said. 'On the flight this morning was my uncle Mario Lamar, his wife, Lily Lamar, and two of his grandchildren, Christian Sosa and Sophie Sosa. Again, I ask anybody out there if you could help with search and rescue and any other efforts, we would greatly appreciate it. We need to bring them home.
