Owen Sound Attack add tenacious Alex Taylor to the team

The Milton, Ont., product was the 208th overall pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection and played U.S. Prep School hockey last season at the Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut. He registered six goals and 14 assists in 31 games with the Highlanders. He spent his under-16 season with the Halton Hurricanes, where he notched a whopping 46 goals and 52 assists in 68 games, and finished second on the team in scoring behind Aleksandr Sementsov, whom the Barrie Colts selected in the first round. Taylor, 17, impressed at training camp despite his size. He's listed at five-foot-eight and 146 pounds. 'Alex has continued to show us that he has the skill, competitive level and character to be a great player at this level. He has earned this opportunity through his work ethic and commitment to improving every day,' said Tyler Nother, the Attack's president and GM.
