Seattle police responded to three separate weekend shootings in the Belltown neighborhood that left three people dead and four others injured. The violence began early Sunday morning during an illegal street takeover at Denny Way and Cedar Street, where surveillance footage captured cars doing donuts and fireworks being thrown before a fight broke out on 3rd Avenue. Three Separate Shootings Leave Three Dead Across Belltown When officers arrived at the first scene around 12:37 a.m. on Sunday, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds—one in the chest and another in the abdomen. Both victims were rushed to Harborview Medical Center, where one man died and the other was listed in serious condition. A man and woman later walked into Harborview with gunshot wounds, bringing the total number of victims in that initial incident to three. Officers found a woman inside a parked vehicle with gunshot wounds to her head and torso. Investigators believe a suspect fired several shots directly into the car. The woman was transported in critical condition to Harborview Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The suspect remains at large. Police responding just after 11:30 p.m. found a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts by officers and arriving firefighters, the teen died at the scene. A 21-year-old man was also wounded in the leg during the same altercation and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. 'We will stand together with our community to bring justice to these victims and their loved ones. The Seattle Police Department is working around the clock to investigate these incidents. We will work tirelessly with our partners to find lasting solutions.'
