Saudi Arabia's tourist bus is part of global date fest

RIYADH: The Buraidah International Dates Carnival has launched a daily tourist bus tour that allows visitors to explore Buraidah's history and cultural, heritage and economic landmarks, as well as the carnival itself. After leaving the Palm Center, the event's main venue, the tour visits several prominent sites across the city with expert tour guides providing historical and cultural information about Buraidah. The tour offers a distinctive sightseeing experience aboard buses equipped with comfortable seating and comprehensive services, helping boost tourism and highlight Buraidah's status as a global dates capital. It is the ideal accompaniment to the carnival, which runs until Sept. 10.
