Ghost Light: Echoes of the Revolution brings to life the people and events that shaped southern Wake County during the American Revolution. Blending documented history with imagined dialogue, the production explores a community divided by war through the voices of Native people, enslaved residents, Patriots, Loyalists, widows, soldiers and political leaders whose stories still echo across the region. The cast is led by Broadway veterans Craig Schulman (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde) and John Arthur Green (West Side Story, Matilda, School of Rock, Tootsie, Company). Created by award-winning writer and filmmaker Tim Stevens as part of Garner's 250th anniversary celebration, Ghost Light reveals that the Revolution was not merely fought in distant cities and famous battlefields—it unfolded in the fields, homes and communities of what is now southern Wake County.
