THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON: AMC+ Reveals Final Season Teaser AMC+ has revealed a first look at the final season of THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON, including the addition of Jimmy Smits. According to the network, 'In the final season, while crossing the ravaged badlands of Spain, 'Daryl' (Norman Reedus) and 'Carol' (Melissa McBride) grasp onto hope – and each other – as uncertainty about their future grows. Smits plays 'Captain Alejandro Perkins,' a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who found a unique way to thrive during the apocalypse.' Watch the new teaser… The series also stars Romain Levi, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Candela Saitta, and Hugo Arbués. David Zabel serves as showrunner. Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante executive produce. The series is set to return in 2027.
