No Child in Quetta to Be Left Without Polio Vaccination: Badini Independent Report QUETTA , Sept 7: Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini has directed health authorities and polio teams to ensure that every eligible child in the district is vaccinated, stressing that no missed child should remain beyond the reach of the ongoing campaign. He issued the directives while chairing a meeting of the District Polio Eradication Committee (DPEC) to assess the progress of the anti-polio drive, vaccination coverage, field team performance and challenges being faced during the campaign. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Deputy DHO, District Polio Coordinator, N-STOP staff and other officials associated with the Health Department and the polio eradication program. Officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the overall campaign situation, vaccination coverage, performance of field teams, identification of missed children and difficulties encountered during field activities. Badini directed the concerned authorities to make full use of available resources to improve the campaign's effectiveness and ensure that vaccination targets are achieved. He ordered stronger monitoring of teams working in the field and called for regular assessment of their performance. He also instructed officials to give special attention to sensitive areas and intensify efforts to locate and vaccinate children who had been missed during the campaign. The Deputy Commissioner stressed that field teams should receive timely guidance and necessary support so that operational challenges do not affect vaccination coverage. He said polio eradication remains a key government priority and warned that negligence or lapses in vaccination activities would not be tolerated. Badini called for stronger coordination and cooperation among all departments and organizations involved in the campaign to ensure that every child is reached and the district's polio eradication targets are achieved.
