Bruno Guimaraes reveals major Arsenal change Mikel Arteta is planning this season

Mikel Arteta is 'very obsessed' with making Arsenal the great entertainers. Bruno Guimaraes has revealed how Arteta is desperate to improve and ensure his team play even better football than last season's title-winning campaign. The Gunners gained a reputation for becoming reliant on set-pieces and bullying opponents as they won their first title in 22 years. But new signing Guimaraes says Arteta has been drumming it into his players that he wants to build on last season's strengths - and make them even more attractive to watch as they showed in their win over Chelsea on Sunday. The Brazil midfielder said: 'It's great to be able to work with such a strong team. There's something impressive about this team. 'They're strong physically, strong in defence, strong in attack. It seems that this season they're playing better than last season. I think that's the goal, to improve every year. 'That's the message that Arteta wants to pass on to us. I think that since the first time I talked to him, he's very obsessed with these things, he's always improving. 'We can see that our team is playing very well. It's just the beginning, there's a lot to come, but so far, congratulations to everyone.' Arteta alluded to the fact that Arsenal are capable of far more this season in the aftermath of Sunday's big win, which came courtesy of goals from Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard. 'It was a fascinating game I think for the spectator as well, and I think we deserved to win the game which I'm really pleased with, obviously.' He continued: 'I think it's an indication for us that we're capable of performing even higher than we did last season. It depends on whether we maintain that desire, that humility, and continue every day to find a greater version of myself and the team.
