OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A devastating fire destroys a home in Okaloosa County Sunday night, Sept. 6.
According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Facebook post, deputies responded to the call on Highway 98 in Mary Esther.
Officials temporarily closed the road as they worked to put out the fire.
The post said firefighters also responded and got everyone out of the burning home. The fire completely engulfed the home and would take about five hours to extinguish.
Officials said the home is a total loss.
