Karachi Board Alerts Students of Fake Results Notice

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has rejected a press release circulating on social media about the ninth-grade results, declaring it fake and announcing legal action against those responsible, reported 24NewsHD TV on Friday. The fake notice claimed that a technical fault in the board's computer system had caused errors in students' marks during the preparation of the results. A board spokesperson dismissed the claim and said there was no truth to reports of a system malfunction or errors in the marks. Board Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput also denied a statement attributed to him, saying the board's name and letterhead had been misused to create anxiety among students and parents. The spokesperson said strict legal action would be taken against those involved in preparing and circulating the fake press release on social media. Students, parents and media representatives were urged to avoid sharing unverified information and rely only on the board's official website and Facebook page for authentic updates.
