Former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville details 18-hour IV treatments: ‘I feel like death'

Brandi Glanville shares the treatment she is using amid her ongoing battle with a facial parasite. The Real Housewives alum detailed her 18-hour IV treatment in a two-part video. 'I feel like death. I look like death,' she told followers. Brandi Glanville is taking fans behind the scenes with her latest health update. The former Bravo star, who has been candid about her battle with a facial parasite and a face tumor, is undergoing IV treatments to address the issues. On Sunday, Glanville shared a video talking fans through the 18-hour regimen that she said has made her 'so skinny right now.' 'I can't eat because the things I do decreases my food,' Glanville explained while preparing her daily infusions in the Sept. 6 video. 'I feel like death. I look like death.' She continued, 'I just finished this IV, it's Imipenum. It's on a pump. I had to learn to do all these with the nurse.' Glanville shared that her nurse 'comes four hours a day in the evenings to do my other IV' but that she has to do another 4-hour IV on her own. 'And then I start this at 4 o'clock, the Imipenum, and I have that overnight,' she said. (Imipenum is an antibiotic commonly used in conjunction with Cilastatin to treat severe bacterial infections.) Glanville said that because of the lengthy process, the 'only time I leave my house is to do my podcast.' The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared the update across two Instagram videos. 'For the first time, I'm showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors,' she wrote in the caption for the first segment. 'The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw. I haven't been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there's still a lot I'm not ready to share yet. This is only one minute of a much bigger story.' In the second video, she told fans, 'I never thought this would become my life. A PICC line. Hours of IV medication. And still fighting to get whatever is in my face OUT.' She went on to indicate that she has received answers for the cause of her ailment but is not yet ready to share the diagnosis publicly. 'I know everyone wants to know exactly what I'm dealing with. I'm not ready to share that part just yet,' Glanville wrote. 'But I am ready to start showing you what it's taken to get here. This is my reality right now.' She concluded by promising that there is 'more to come.' Glanville, who hosts the Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, has spoken about battling a facial parasite for three years. In 2023, when she first opened up about the issue, she speculated that it began after she ate food that was improperly stored while in Morocco filming the Real Housewives' Ultimate Girls Trip. 'She's like, 'You have a slow leak in your left [implant] and your right [implant] is completely ruptured, and it's in all of your lymph nodes under both arms.'' Glanville said in December 2024 that she had already spent an estimated $70,000 on the problem. In June of this year, she lamented the return of the issue, on her podcast, sharing, 'I've been to a million doctors. The only thing that really seems to help is being out in the sun and the parasite medication and the parasite diet. And I don't have answers. Is there a doctor that specializes in parasites?
