Overseas Pakistanis key contributors to Pakistan's economic stability, prosperity: Syedaal

ISLAMABAD, Nov 01 (APP):Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan Nasar, while meeting delegations of overseas Pakistanis from the United States and Japan, tribal elders, lawyers, intellectuals, representatives of social organizations and people from various walks of life, underscored the vital role of overseas Pakistanis in Pakistan's economic development and national progress. The meeting discussed issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, their welfare and protection, as well as the country's economic and political stability, national security and the prevailing regional and international situation. The Deputy Chairman Senate said that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable national asset and an important pillar of the country's economy. Through their hard work, expertise and substantial remittances, they are making a significant contribution to Pakistan's economic stability, development and prosperity. He said the government is fully aware of the challenges faced by Pakistanis living abroad and is taking several important initiatives to address their concerns, safeguard their rights and provide better facilities. Efforts are also underway to encourage overseas Pakistanis to contribute further to national development and investment. Syedaal Khan Nasar emphasized that economic stability, political harmony and a secure environment are essential for Pakistan's sustainable development. He stressed the need for all political parties and national institutions to work together in the larger national interest and adopt a collective approach to overcome the country's challenges. He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan is moving towards greater economic stability, political strength, improved national security and enhanced international standing. Their coordinated leadership and efforts are providing a clear direction for the country's progress and prosperity. The Deputy Chairman Senate said that the government is also pursuing measures to promote regional and international peace and strengthen Pakistan's security.
