Over 17,000 private Hajj pilgrims complete bookings through Pak Hajj App
More than 17,000 private Hajj pilgrims have completed their bookings through the Pak Hajj App.
This was stated by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Muhammad Umar Butt, in a statement today.
He further said 14 billion rupees have so far been transferred to the accounts of authorized Hajj companies through the National IT Board's Digital Hajj Portal, while 6 billion rupees have been deposited online through One-Link and bank cards.
The spokesperson said 54,000 seats are still available under the private Hajj scheme.
He urged the intending private pilgrims to select their preferred Hajj package from the comfort of their homes through the Pak Hajj App.
He advised pilgrims to select a Hajj organizer and make payments for the Hajj package only through the Pak Hajj App.
Muhammad Umar Butt said the Ministry of Religious Affairs has prohibited direct payments to any individual or Hajj company.
He warned that the ministry will not be responsible for any fraud resulting from payments made through channels other than the Pak Hajj App.
He said November 20, 2026, is the deadline for booking under the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj Portal.
