Some 17 people were being treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department. The most overcrowded hospital in the eastern region was St Vincent's, Dublin, where there 30 people on trolleys while the least overcrowded was Beaumont Hospital which had nine patients on trolleys. There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital and there were eight people on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital.
