Man found fatally shot, friend assaulted in possible robbery at southwest Houston apartments HOUSTON, TX – A man was found fatally shot at the La Carmona apartment complex in southwest Houston earlier today. Houston police responded to the complex on South Gessner Road around 4:30 a.m. and found the man with gunshot wounds. Investigators said the shooting may have happened during an attempted robbery. The victim was reportedly with a friend who was assaulted and taken to a hospital in unknown condition. No arrests have been made.
