Indore Car Crash Kills Two Men, Driver Arrested After Collision

Times News Network Indore : Two men died from injuries after a speeding car hit their scooter near Marimata Square late Sunday night. The collision occurred around 12:40 am under the Banganga Police Station jurisdiction. The deceased were identified as Raj Sonere, 28, an oven artisan residing in Satya Sai Nagar, and Nandkishore Solanki, 30, a local vegetable vendor. The two were crossing the road near Marimata Square when the speeding car allegedly rammed into their two-wheeler, throwing both victims several feet away. Both were rushed to separate hospitals, where they succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Before hitting the scooter, the speeding vehicle allegedly collided with an auto-rickshaw and a street food cart. Bystanders at the scene intercepted the vehicle, caught the driver identified as Ankit Yadav of Sundar Nagar, and handed him over to the police. Banganga Police have impounded the car and registered a case to investigate the cause of the accident and determine the vehicle's exact speed at the time of the crash.
