Cincinnati man faces federal charges for assault of mail carrier

WEST PRICE HILL, Ohio (WKRC) - A man accused of assaulting a USPSmail carrier has been indicted on federal charges. Wendell Swan, 56, is accused of assaulting the victim on Rosemont Ave., at his apartment building on Aug. 5. Swan is accused of punching the mail carrier several times and throwing him to the ground while he was on the job. Swan is charged with assault and could face up to 20 years in prison, if convicted. Authorities did not give a motive for the attack.
